My name is Christy Lingo...I am a mom to 2 rambunctious boys and a Professional Organizer serving Columbus, Ohio. I am the oldest of five children whose ages span 14 years with an organizing guru for a mom...Seriously, she taught me all I know about routines, schedules, decluttering and systems. Upon leaving home, I spent 14 years honing my organizing skills by moving more than 15 times and living in an average of 700 sq. foot, most times with minimal closet space and limited storage. In 2009, I began Simple Solutions to share my organizing skills and work with clients to develop maintainable systems of organization and to reclaim space in their homes.
I have been featured as an organizing expert on Good Day Columbus and Daytime Columbus as well as the This Organized Life and Super Organizer Show podcasts. I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) where I am a member of their Golden Circle and the Enviromentally-Conscious Organizers special interest group. As a member of the NAPO Ohio Chapter I serve as Marketing Director. I am also a member of theInstitute for Chronic Disorganization (ICD) where I regularly take classes on hoarding and other mental health factors that contribute to chronic disorganization. I have earned my Level One certificate of study in Chronic Disorganization through ICD.
When I'm not organizing, I'm love organic gardening, baking, world traveling, and HIIT workouts. I have a passion for Shakespeare, power tools and lots of stuff in between
